When Little Caesars teamed up with Marvel Studios for the Fantastic Four: First Steps film release, they needed packaging as bold as the heroes themselves. The result: a four-piece collectible pizza box set that connects to reveal a single mural image of Marvel’s iconic superhero team.

Dynamic Dies was tapped to make that vision possible — translating complex artwork and structural concepts into production-ready tooling that could scale across national pizza distribution.

Challenge

The creative concept was ambitious:

  • Four individual boxes that align perfectly to form one continuous mural.
  • Tight registration and precision cuts required across mass production.
  • Structural integrity that holds up under foodservice conditions while maintaining print alignment and collectability.

Each element had to perform flawlessly — from die creation through converter handoff — to preserve the visual impact and ensure manufacturing efficiency.

Solution

Dynamic Dies collaborated closely with the converter network and Little Caesars’ design team to engineer custom steel rule dies tailored to the project’s unique specifications.
